Victoire de la Marne doesn't get as much attention as some of our other showier peony varieties, but locals here in Alaska just love this bloom! Very unique in shape, Victoire's buds more closely resemble a rose then a peony, and once open, the blooms look like a deep-red, wild rose. The yellow center of this peony also adds an additional pop of color that makes this bloom a real stand-out.
